Social and Emotional Learning Mastery

The “Social and Emotional Learning Mastery” series, modules 8-14, comprehensively explore the 5 tenets of SEL:  Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision-Making.  Each module includes engaging inquiry experiences and thorough opportunities for practice including role-playing, scenario analysis, self-assessments, long-term projects, and the creation of “If-then plans” and implementation intentions to ensure long-term retention.  Students also learn how to create live happier on demand and how to develop unstoppable self-love and self-belief.  With 44 lessons, guided worksheets, informational sheets, posters, kinesthetic hands-on learning experiences, and much more, students experience a comprehensive and deep approach to mastering SEL!

Module 8

SELF AWARENESS

Module 8 focuses on self-reflection. Students learn to identify strengths, weaknesses, identity components, core values and personality. They also learn to recognize and label emotions as they happen.

Module 9

SELF MANAGEMENT 

Module 9 emotional self-management is an important mindset skill a student can learn. Emotional management allows for academic achievement, perseverance, resilience, mental health, physical health, and strong relationships.

Module 10

SOCIAL AWARENESS

Module 10 social awareness allows students to take the perspective of and empathize with others from diverse backgrounds and cultures, to understand the social and ethical norms of behavior, family, and school.

Module 11

RELATIONSHIP MASTERY

Module 11 shows a progression of lessons that teach students why relationships are important and how they are beneficial for short and long-term success.

Module 12

RESPONSIBLE DECISION MAKING

Module 12 teaches students why being a responsible decision maker helps them develop confidence and become more trustworthy.

THE HAPPINESS ADVANTAGE

Module 13 happiness sounds like something that is very basic and attainable. Nonetheless, it is complex and difficult for students to grasp. This module provides students with skills to help them find fulfillment.

HOW TO BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

Module 14 help students explore the concepts of self care and self love, and how that helps shape their own personal beliefs about themselves.
