Beliefs and expectations and their impact on staff achievement, roadblocks to self-awareness, What is SEL and why does it matter?, cultural awareness, implicit bias, mindset self-assessment and micro-goals, leader self-care and resilience, the negative thought cycle, reframing our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors through CBT, compassionate curiosity, the FRAP method, the 10 Beliefs of Effective SEL Implementers, the 5:1 method, habit and limiting belief analysis, and more.
Day 2 - Building Psychological Safety (8am - 5:00pm)
The neuroscience of emotions and psychological safety, the 6 human needs and amygdala triggers, the five dysfunctions of a team, the five phases of a culture shift, routines for creating a positive school environment (creating trusting admin-staff relationships, building a supportive learning environment, and designing results-based professional development), leveraging the cultural architects, creating a common and urgent vision, norms co-creation and management, embracing and resolving conflict with class, supporting resistant or skeptical adults, asset-based staff interactions, creating a positive school wide culture that manages itself, and fostering a growth mindset.
Day 3 - Fostering Adult and Student SEL Through Schoolwide Routines (8am - 5:00pm)
Optimizing staff meetings for adult SEL practice, building optimism and resilience, creating a culture of constant self-awareness and self-improvement, leveraging parents and community members to optimize SEL implementation, integrating SEL routines and strategies into content areas, reimagining school structures and policies to support SEL, SEL-think alouds, SEL micro-lessons, and thought coaching.

The Mindset Mastery Leadership Institute ™ is a high energy, hands-on 5-Day Professional Development where school leaders learn how to integrate powerful routines that foster Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skills in their staff meetings, classrooms, and schoolwide! Participants learn how to help themselves and their teachers develop powerful mindsets and successful habits that result in high levels of happiness, resilience, confidence, and achievement in their staff meetings, classrooms, and their personal life. When leaders and teachers are happy, resilient, self-aware, and strong in their social, emotional, and cultural competency, student academics, behavior, and school culture drastically improve! By destroying limiting beliefs, creating instant positive mental states, mastering emotions, and internalizing the growth mindset, participants develop the capacity to meet life-changing goals, enhance their relationships, overcome challenging setbacks, live with purpose, and become unstoppable agents of change in their community!
